Enterprise Bank offers Automated Clearing House (ACH) origination for our commercial clients. This service works in collaboration with our Tier-2 Internet Banking, Cash Management, in order to allow businesses to process employee direct deposits, transfers between banks and automatic payments.

Automatic Bill Payment is tied directly to our the current online banking system, Enterprise Connection. By using the same system, you are able to use the same user ID and password as you do for Enterprise Connection. In addition, all of your Enterprise Bank checking and money market accounts can be set up on the bill payment program.
Under the bill payment system, you can either make a one time payment or set up regular recurring payments, for example loans or utility payments. Information about each payee only needs to be entered into the system for the initial payment. The information can then be saved to your profile, so that it may be called up later for future payments to the same payee.
A unique feature of the Automatic Bill Payment service is the ability to view scheduled payments and payment histories. By initiating the “View Scheduled Payments” option, you are able to look over future payments and payees already entered. If by chance, you happen to input the wrong amount, you can make quick changes to your payments before they are initiated. A second option allows you to view the payments you have made, on what dates and how much you paid in order for you to compare against your bank statements. You can also request confirmation when payment has been made.
There are two ways your payment can be processed--electronic or check. Each has several important features:
- When possible all payees receive an electronic Automated Clearing House (ACH) credit.
- Your account is debited the day that the transaction is requested, or a future date if you so choose.
- Credit on the payee side occurs on the transaction effective date.
- Payees receive check similar to what they would have written
- Processes like a normal check--your account is debited the day the check is presented to Enterprise Bank

By using the Automatic Bill Payment service, you will save time and money that would have been spent on postage stamps, checks, writing out checks, and the lag between mailing a check and the payee receiving it. Enterprise Bank will even train you on how to use the software, supply user guides for reference, and provide support during the Bank’s hours via our friendly Client Service Representatives.

Bank-by-Mail is a FREE service offered to all Enterprise Bank clients. In order to take advantage of this service, just place a personalized deposit ticket and your endorsed checks (cash is not permissible) in the FREE postage-paid, pre-addressed return envelopes supplied by Enterprise Bank and drop them in the mail. Simple as that! Upon receipt, an Enterprise Bank employee will post the deposits and immediately mail a transaction receipt to you same day. The return mail to you will also include a new postage paid envelope.

Enterprise Bank works with a nationally known service providers, Elan Financial Services, to offer VISA credit cards to both business and individual clients.
The VISA Business Card features include: low introductory rates, cash back and more rewards.

There are two tiers to the online banking system, Tier-1: Enterprise Connection and Tier-2: Cash Management. Tier-2 Cash Management is only available to business clients.
Tier-1: Enterprise Connection
Enterprise Connection allows our business and consumer clients to view past statements and transactions, as well as and up-to-date information on all of their Enterprise Bank accounts. Enterprise Connection enables you to print cleared checks, withdrawals, and deposit slips to verify dates and signatures. You can also set up automatic alerts that send you an e-mail when your checks clear or when your account balance reaches a particular level. Tier-2: Cash Management

In order to allow you to compete effectively, Enterprise Bank offers Merchant Services that allow your business to accept major credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also provide client support through a toll-free number that operates 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. In order to track all of your credit card transactions, our business clients may open a separate Business Checking Account solely for Merchant Service transactions. At the client's request, these funds can be automatically swept to a general operating or savings account. All merchant activity appears monthly on a unified statement.

What is a Sweep Feature?
A sweep feature is an automatic funds transfer that ties two deposit accounts together and moves a specified amount of funds automatically between the accounts when balance thresholds are met. This service can act as overdraft protection to cover insufficient funds and minimize service fees resulting from insufficient funds.
To use this service, account holders work with their Relationship Manager or a Client Service Representative to select an Enterprise Bank checking account and a savings.
Overdraft protection transfers are a FREE service; investment transfers are subject to a monthly fee. Federal regulations limit the number of monthly sweep transfers from an interest-bearing account. After six transactions per calendar month, the sweep feature shuts down automatically. The sweep feature will automatically resume the next calendar month.
How a Sweep Feature works
- Creating a sweep arrangement is a very simple process and does not require you to travel to the Bank to initiate.
- You work with your Relationship Manager or a Client Service Representative to select a secondary checking, savings to tie to your main operating account and create the sweep guidelines.
- A sweep feature agreement is completed according to the decided sweep guidelines.
- When the balance in the checking account falls below the pre-determined average balance stated in the sweep guidelines, funds are deposited into the main operating account, thus maintaining the average balance.
- Funds above the average balance threshold will be invested into a savings or money market account.

By operation of federal law, beginning January 1, 2013, funds deposited in a noninterest-bearing transaction account (including an Interest on Lawyer Trust Account) no longer will receive unlimited deposit insurance coverage by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Beginning January 1, 2013, all of a depositor's accounts at an insured depository institution, including all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts, will be insured by the FDIC up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount ($250,000), for each deposit insurance ownership category.
Enterprise Bank offers Night Depository services for our business clients. Bank customers may bring business deposits to the Bank after hours to place in our secure, locked drop box. Small deposits that can fit in a flat envelope can be inserted in the night drop box without the need for a key. Deposits will be removed by an employee the next business morning and posted to your specified accounts.

In 2003, the United States government approved the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act, more commonly referred to as Check 21. Check 21 allows the use of high resolution, encrypted digital images of checks as acceptable substitutes for original checks. This change revolutionized the banking industry, but also permitted the use of certain technology by consumers to scan their own deposits and transmit them to their financial institution for payment, also known as remote image capture or remote deposit.
Enterprise Bank has adopted this new technology to better serve the needs of its busy small business clients. Dubbed Enterprise Payment Solutions, our service allows our customers many advantages for conducting their banking conveniently from their offices or on the road. No longer will clients be restricted to traditional banking hours, staffing concerns or traffic issues to get their deposits to the bank.
Enterprise Bank offers several remote deposit products for our client’s convenience.
Remote Deposit Complete – RDC requires the client to scan the deposits with either a scanner issued by Enterprise Bank or a flat bed scanner.
Remote Deposit Anywhere – RDA is a deposit program which functions from any IPhone or Android. By simply downloading the free app you will be able to make single deposits from your phone anywhere you are.
MyRemote Deposit Complete – This is a mobile deposit program that can be added to the RDC clients. This will enable employees of the business who are in the field selling or collecting payments to make deposits directly from their phone.
Features of all three remote products are:

Enterprise Bank offers safe deposit box services. The Bank’s safe deposit boxes are located securely in the vault and are available in 5 sizes:
Extra Small – 4” x 2”
Small – 5” x 4.5”
Medium – 10” x 2.5”
Large – 10” x 4.5”
Extra Large – 10” x 9.5”
Examination rooms for contents are available for client privacy, and two keys are furnished for each box.
In order to lease a safe deposit box, you must be an account holder at the Bank and must maintain a sufficient balance in any statement account to cover non-refundable rental charges that will be automatically billed to it. Costs of box rentals vary in accordance to size. Fees are charged annually and due in January.

Enterprise Bank allows you to request wire transfers. Wire transfers both domestic and international can be requested from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. You will need to complete a wire transfer agreement with the Bank prior to the wire transfers request. Wire transfers can be initiated via a written request, and faxed to a Client Service Representative at (412) 753-0202. Wire transfer requests can also be initiated via Enterprise Bank's Tier-2 level of Internet Banking, Enterprise Connection Cash Management. A confirmation of the completed transfer can be received via phone or email.
