Commercial Bank Loan Auditor - May 2026
Under the oversight of the VP of Enterprise Risk Management, we are seeking an employee who is willing to learn and can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail, time management, tact, and the ability to operate independently are essential to the role. The successful candidate will undergo continued training to audit many facets of a commercial bank, with a focus on commercial lending.
Principle Activities and Duties:
- Assist in identifying, monitoring, and mitigating commercial bank related risks to support the bank’s audit processes and Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Assist with communicating commercial bank audits and controls to satisfy internal policy, legal and, regulatory requirements.
- Audit loans throughout different phases, including origination, post-closing, and subsequent reviews
- Audit in conjunction with the Small Business Administration (SBA) loan compliance policies and programs.
Qualifications:
- A college degree preferred; emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Economics; Auditing
- Skilled knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage time, maintain appropriate audit records and schedules, and possess organizational skills
